Pipeline stress impact:
When the rotary flowmeter is installed horizontally, the liquid pressure in the pipeline will generate lateral force on the rotor, leading to an increase in stress between the rotor and the pipeline. This stress may cause deformation or damage to the rotor, thereby affecting the accuracy and reliability of the flow meter.
Uneven flow distribution:
In horizontal pipelines, the distribution of liquid flow may be uneven, resulting in uneven force on the rotor. This will cause the position of the rotor to be unstable, thereby affecting the measurement accuracy of the flow rate.
Therefore, in order to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the rotor flowmeter, it should be installed vertically so that the rotor is in a vertical state. This can avoid the impact of buoyancy, pipeline stress, and uneven flow distribution on the accuracy of flow measurement.
