(2) The disadvantage of glass rotor flow meters is that their measurement accuracy is low, they are greatly affected by temperature and pressure, and are prone to damage. Therefore, they are not suitable for high pressure, high temperature, or corrosive fluids.

In contrast, metal rotor flow meters are more suitable for working under high flow rates, high pressures, and high temperatures. Its measurement range is usually between 10-10000ml/min, with a maximum pressure of 30bar and a maximum temperature of 300 ℃. The metal rotor flowmeter has high measurement accuracy, good stability, and can adapt to various harsh working environments. In addition, it also has explosion-proof, waterproof, anti-corrosion and other characteristics, which can be used in various complex environments.

However, metal rotor flow meters are relatively expensive and difficult to clean and replace. In addition, it is not as intuitive as a glass rotor flowmeter and cannot directly observe the flow of fluid.

In summary, both glass rotor flow meters and metal rotor flow meters have their own advantages and disadvantages.
