Product Overview:
Cyanide usually refers to the inorganic substance containing cyanide. Common cyanides are sodium cyanide, potassium cyanide and hydrogen cyanide. These simple cyanides are soluble in water and are highly toxic.
Cyanide is very easily absorbed by human body. It can enter the human body through the mouth, respiratory tract or skin. Cyanide enters the stomach and is absorbed immediately by hydrolysis of gastric acid to cyanhydric acid. When this substance enters the blood circulation, the cytochrome oxidase Fe3+ in the blood binds to cyanide, and forms the cytochrome oxidase of iron cyanide, which loses the ability to transmit electrons, interrupts the respiratory chain and causes the cell to asphyxiate and die. Because cyanide is more soluble in lipids, the central nervous system is the first to be harmed, especially the respiratory center. Respiratory failure is the main cause of death from acute cyanide poisoning.
Cyanide on-line automatic analyzer uses water with tartaric acid and zinc nitrate to be heated and distilled.Simple cyanide and some complex cyanide in water sample are distilled in the form of hydrogen cyanide. After absorption with sodium hydroxide, hydrogen chloride is formed with cyanamide T. The reaction of isonicotinic acid and pyrazolone to produce red intermediate product. Red intermediate product is formed rapidly at 546 nm wavelength. It has maximum absorption and is stable for a certain period of time.
